The lab was to collect 8 rocks and categorize them. In the figure above the rocks collected are listed by number Below.

1. Granite 

2. Higher coarse grain Granite 

3. Quartzite

4. Coal

5. Slate

6. Brick- This rock Is created when clay is fired in a kiln and turned into brick. It is red because of its high iron content.

7. Sand Stone

8. Concrete
